To start repayment online:

This is because each candidate is assigned a unique virtual account number, which ensures that the payment is credited to the correct individual’s loan account. As long as the payment is made using the correct virtual account number, it will be reflected under the respective candidate’s name/borrower’s name regardless of whose bank account is used.

Please note that we sent three reminder emails to your registered email ID prior to the start of your first due date. These emails were sent 30 days, 15 days, and 7 days in advance to ensure you were well-informed about the upcoming payment schedule.

If your course duration is delayed due to session issues, you need to submit a Bonafide Certificate to your respective DRCC office. This certificate should mention :

• The reason for the session delay.
• The expected completion date (month and year) of your course.
• This will help you get an extension or hold on to the repayment schedule.

You can suspend repayment or recovery by submitting an affidavit online through the MNSSBY Portal using your Login ID and Password. This can be done during specific periods:

• June 15th to June 30th
• December 15th to December 31st

Steps to Download Affidavit:

1. Go to the MNSSNY login page.
2. Login using your credentials.
3. Click on “Request for Affidavit”.
4. Enter a valid email ID.
5. Click on Submit.

A copy of the prefilled affidavit will be sent to your email. Please check your inbox or spam folder.

Steps to Upload Affidavit:

1. Go to the MNSSNY login page.
2. Login using your credentials.
3. Click on “Repayment Suspension”.
4. In the document upload section, select your scanned affidavit PDF file.
5. Tick the declaration checkbox.
6. Click on Submit.

Note:

• You must wait for your repayment schedule to be generated. Only then will you be eligible to download, upload, or submit your affidavit.
• If your repayment schedule has just started and this is your first affidavit, you can upload it on the MNSSBY portal and submit the hard copy to your DRCC office anytime during the year.
• The affidavit provision suspends repayments for 6 months. During this period, your repayment schedule and interest calculation will remain unchanged, and you won’t receive any recovery-related reminders, notices, or notifications.
• No extension will be granted in your overall repayment timeline under any circumstances.

As of now there is no option to submit it online but will be available shortly, but one has to submit its hard and original copy to DRCC which is mandatory.

If you drop out from college or cancel your loan after receiving the first installment under the Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme, you are required to repay the entire loan amount received, along with interest, in one lump sum.

Yes, you can. To view your loan details and payment status, log in to the student portal at https://www.bsefcl.bihar.gov.in/ using your registered email ID and password. You are free to pay any amount you wish. If you pay more than the scheduled instalment amount, the excess will be adjusted against future instalments. Therefore, you can choose to pay the full outstanding amount at once without any issues.
